Another adventure in the Packard...
I chauffeured my wife and her friend to the 2022 Elton John Concert at PNC Park here in Pittsburgh. We arrived at the park and there seemed to be an endless line of concert goers, waiting for the gates to open. As we slowly drove by, those who were already in line were stretching their necks trying to catch a glimpse of the important person in the stunning Packard. My wife Kim, thinking she was Miss Daisy instructed me to pull over to let them out where the line was forming. I kept driving, not responding... to the front and nothing less! We noticed that our car was becoming the center of attention in what was already a whirlwind of chaos. Kim and Kathy quickly responded by giving the "royal" wave while leaning forward towards the window.
Upon our arrival at the front of the line, I swiftly exited the vehicle looking quite dapper in my best blue suit, polished Bostonians and dark sunglasses. I quickly opened the door and extended my hand to assist my beautiful wife as she exited the vehicle. I did my best imitation of a Professional Chauffeur and without missing a beat Kim stepped out onto the curb looking marvelous as usual. I then turned back to focus my attention towards Kathy as she exited the vehicle. With a small crowd watching and waiting to see who else would soon appear, Kathy made her exit. I am not sure what happened but before I could react to assist her, she was rolling out of the door backwards, sliding through the opening on to her feet. Somehow, she stuck the landing in what could be described as true Olympian fashion. I have to admit, it was unorthodox in every way but yet, it was graceful. I can think of no better vehicle to make such fabulous entrance while making an exit.
No matter the event you are attending, or the style of your exit, we hope to meet your needs and to also provide you with a truly memorable experience.
As for the picture of a young Elton standing near a purple vintage automobile... It's a Studebaker!
